There are many terrific sources for technical and business information on quantum, many of which are free. Here are a few of my favorites.

Technology Sources

Introduction to Classical and Quantum Computing, by Thomas Wong

https://www.thomaswong.net/introduction-to-classical-and-quantum-computing-1e4p.pdf

Introductory textbook that first introduces qubits then builds to detailed descriptions of several seminal algorithms, including Shor’s algorithm for quantum factoring that may break encryption. The only pre-req is
trigonometry, he teaches the other math that might be missing.

Understanding Quantum Technologies, by Olivier Ezratty

https://www.oezratty.net/wordpress/2023/understanding-quantumtechnologies-2023/

A comprehensive and ambitious 1,366 page tome! In Ezratty’s words, “It is probably the most thorough book on the matter covering so many dimensions (history, science, technology, hardware/software, usages, societal, political) and for all quantum technologies (computing, telecommunications, cryptography, sensing, quantum matter).”

It can be both short and long on details. Feel free to skip around.

EdX Quantum Courses

https://www.edx.org/learn/quantum-computing

Plenty of auditable (free) and certificate ($) courses on all aspects of quantum. Ranges from high-level to rigorous masters-level treatment.

Quantum Computing Experimentation with Amazon Braket, Alex Kahn

https://www.amazon.com/Quantum-Computing-Experimentation-AmazonBraket/dp/1800565267

A programming book with in-depth details of how to use Amazon’s quantum computing cloud service called Braket. Focuses on building quantum circuits to solve optimization problems.
Highly practical, hands-on book.
